Submersible utility pumps have been around for a while. Every once in a while, a manufacturer surprises us with some new cool technology.
This pump is the most technologically advanced of it's kind with it's iSwitch Water Sensing Technology. Most other pumps will just run continuous or run in time intervals causing unnecessary wear and tear on the pump. This pump will only turn on when it senses water that needs to be pumped out. What a concept!
This pump also features an oil-free design so if you need to empty out a little of koi pond after heavy rain, this one won't harm those precious fish.
For all of the above reasons, this pump earns the better spot!

Has worked as advertised since purchasing. A very wet fall combined with a lot of snowmelt and rain late winter has caused water table around house to rise and water is leaking into basement where water main comes in through pvc tubing. This automatic pump placed in a container under the leak pumps out dripping water to sump as needed without the need to remember to empty.

Best Pump On The Market.

Purchased this pump a few months ago knowing I would need it for the spring because of all rain we get. Our backyard has a drainage problem so I placed it at the lowest part of the yard on top of a small plastic cover from a storage container and drilled holes in the side . It works great, and got the water out so the grass doesn’t turn yellow. Thank you for selling a great Wayne pump.

Perfect For My Needs

The french drains in my basement cause water to pool up the corner. I bought the house and it has no sump pit so this is a great alternative to installing a pit. Kicks on and pushes the water up and out the window automatically!

Flooded Back Yard
By Russell S.
Macon, Georgia
Purchased 03/02/2020 |
Review Posted 03/29/2020
I had a flooded back yard which had about 5 inches of standing water back in the wooded area. I put the pump in the water and left it on now for almost 4 weeks. I have a 200' hose that goes into the nearest drain behind my neighbors house. It clogged up about 3 times from all the sludge and mud but when I clean it out and put it right back in the water and works great so far.

Awesome

So far this thing is perfect. I have 3 of them and they do what they are supposed to. Move water and fast. Minimal leaves and debris don't seem to clog. I leave plugged in at all times and they sit silent until the rains come and water rises. Have had 6 months and if they last another 6 then we'll worth it.

Will a 5/8" garden hose work with this pump?

If I was to water a garden with this pump, would the pressure of the hose turning on and off be bad for the pump?

I think I need an anti-siphon valve for this pump, which I received from you a couple of weeks ago. It works very well, but recently has started short-cycling (I think) because the water in the discharge hose is flowing back into the reservoir and causing the pump to start up again for a moment. Do you recommend such a valve that can be used with the 3/4" hose adapter?

Would this Wayne EEAUP250 pump be an appropriate and feasible long-term solution to a window well that fills with heavy rains and leaks into an unfinished basement? It is under a deck with very little clearance so exterior window access is very difficult and I'd like to leave it in place year-round. This is in Kansas so winters are frequently freezing and summers are regularly in the 90's. Also, the house has no exterior drainage or sump pump in place but I'm trying to minimize costs if possible. Thanks!

I want to set a portable pump in a low spot on a concrete driveway that will pump water out to the street. I would like it to pump to about 1/2 inch. The water seldom gets above 5 inches. But I would like to leave it unattended overnight. Is there a pump that will turn itself off and on as the water rises or lowers?
