Well I bought this item as a spare just in case for future use I read the specs and believe it will deliver as in past. I bought a control box the original Franklin Electric from the same guys. Good price.
I recommend buying from Water Pumps Direct.com because some installers charging much more just for the parts. Don’t let get sucked in buy your own parts.

You Need This On Larger HP Pumps

Not much to say about this device. I reviewed the pump separately. You need to order this separately when you buy a large pump as they don't come with the motor starter as some of the lower hp models do. Performed well and started the pump every time. You should use some sort of level control to shut your pump down when a no flow condition is sensed so you don't burn out your pump motor. The overload protection on this controller should not be used for that purpose.

So far so good. This deep well had not been run for over 10 years. It needed a start capacitor but for about 50 more bucks I got a whole new control box. The well pumps fine.

I bought the red lion pump in 2012, had it install lasted less then a year. Motor was shot. The part is warranty. I called customer service and they ask me to send them the motor sticker which came off easy, and they shipped me a new one. It took around 2 weeks. We had it install and it works great. I hope this one will last for many years to come. Customer Service was great, they were nice to me with no hassles. This is a good company. I am so grateful this was a smooth replacement transaction. I would buy from them again. One thing I look for is good customer service and water pump direct sure knows how to treat there customers, not like other companies who give out excuses so they do not have to pay for replacements. The gentleman that handle my replacement pump name is Mike Aletich. Really nice guy. Thanks again.
