Packaging could be better. Control box was dented from shipping but that's to be expected since delivery people hate their job. Other than that a crap pump should last five years, decent one ten, and a high quality one fifteen or more. Seems a little premature to rate this one don't you think?

This pump is as good as advertised. Very easy installation when I threw the power to it I was surprised how fast it reached 50 psi to satisfy my cutoff switch. It's supplies good pressure. I would recommend this pump to anybody. My pump sits down 80 ft one inch drop pipe and has no problem satisfy my 30-50 cut off switch.

This was our first time to replace our well pump. My husband did a lot of research on many pumps. He decided on the Red Lion pump because of the reasonable price and the fact that it came with the control box. When it arrived he was very pleased with the quality of the pump.

I use this submersible pump in a tank system to pump water 550' up a 160' incline from a spring system. So far it works very well. I would probably go with a lower gpm as it really pumps 12 gpm and shuts off the pressure switch to quickly. Not a pump problem, though.

My original pump of 22 years was losing volume. From 5 gls to about 2 gls per minute. Not taking a chance that it just need cleaning decided to replace it.. Went on Waterpumps direct and read the reviews.decided to try this pump..
pulled the pump thats 250 down. Glad I did. the original pump. A Gould was worn out. We replaced the PVC with poly and ran new wire also.installed checkvalves every 100 feet. Been installed for over a month.producing 8 gls a minute..
