We used this utility pump to empty our Endless Pool for routine maintenance. It ran flawlessly for about 7-hrs thru a 5/8" line. Might upgrade the line for next time. Very happy!

This little pump is a terrific performer for its size. Underwater it is well cooled and I have run it for 48 hours straight.
I can't speak to its durability over years, but so far it has performed as if were brand new.

I needed a pump with a small diameter to fit in a pipe to pump out groundwater to the street to prevent flooding in my back yard. This fit the bill and has been working great. Having the cord bracketed onto the pump is a plus so that it doesn't fail by accidentally pulling the cord.

Pump worked well enough in my initial test but one of the three tiny hollow plastic feet snapped off already. No, I didn't let the pump drop hard or fall over. The fact that these little feet are just hollow rods shows that whoever designed this part doesn't understand how weak plastic can be. Hollow aluminum or steel feet would have been much better. Now that it won't stand up straight I need to improvise some solution for it (annoying). Also, pump isn't stable when it starts so it falls over immediately. Another improvised solution is required. Not happy with these two issues.

I use these for an indoor irrigation system. I have 10 pumps on an automation system that feed different lines of plants. I have never had any problems other than one. Some water got into the oil compartment and it would blow the GFCI. I made it aware to Water Pumps Direct and they gave they sent a warranty replacement and I had it within 2 days. Since then I haven't had any issues and they work great.

I ordered a PROFLO 1/3 HP pump over a year ago and used it one time to close my pool. When I received the pump it looked like a little bit of oil had leaked out of the pump but it worked ok. I only needed it to drain the pool a few inches below the skimmer basket. This year when I pulled it out of the box it looked like a lot of oil had leaked out of the pump because the box was soaked in oil. When I plugged it in the GFCI kept tripping. It has a three year warranty so I called customer service and explained my issue. They sent me a new pump! The new pump did not have any oil leaking and it works great too. Customer service is outstanding!
