Honda WSP73AA As A Replacement For WSP100AA
By Mark S
Illinois
Purchased 06/03/2024 |
Review Posted 07/16/2024
I ordered this pump as a replacement for Honda's WSP100AA that was discontinued this year. Previously the 100AA proved to be outstanding (dewater 1 acre after significant rainstorms) and generally lasted over 10 years of duty. So far after 2 months and 3 major storms dropping 3-5 inches of water per event, this pump (WSP73AA) has performed well. I cannot speak to the longevity of service yet but so far, it works as described and has done the job. 4 star rating only because I cannot verify its performance life yet.

Honda Utility Pump, Great And Powerful!

Great for a sump pump, puts out about 50 gals per minute. Honda quality just like its gas powered motors. I believe it will last a long time.

The 1 1/2 NPT fitting has limited space for an 1 1/2 npt and a 2" pipe coupling fitting. The pump itself is very strong built, will recommend.

Great pump

We've purchased three of these pumps for our winery, to circulate wine in 9,000 gallon tanks during fermentation. This pump has no problem turning over that entire volume, even with 30 feet of head.
Very powerful, and so far, entirely reliable. The 50' cord is a great boon, as well. We are thoroughly pleased with our pumps.
