Water Transfer

Review Posted 06/26/2024
Purchased this pump 2 years ago as our region in Virginia was experiencing dry weather. I was forced to haul water for my cattle daily. I filled our 300 gallon tank quickly and efficiently with this great pump. Easy to start. Dependable and a life saver pump.

Pleased With New Pump
By Tony G
Michigan
Purchased 07/11/2023 |
Review Posted 08/22/2023
I replaced an older pump that I'd had for over 20 years with a new WH15XT. This pump generates 50% more pressure than my old 2" pump and still throws plenty of GPM for watering a large garden and some of the yard around our house. The higher pressure helps with the area covered by the sprinklers so I don't have to move them as often. The Honda engine has started on the first pull every time. I could have saved some money by going with the same type of pump as my old one but then I wouldn't have had the higher pressure I wanted or the Honda engine. Plus, all the stores in our area were sold out of pumps because of the hot, dry weather we were having. Water Pumps Direct was sold out too, but they were able to tell me when they were expecting more in and they let me reserve one. The added bonus was that they don't charge your card until they ship the product and it arrived more than a week earlier than they said to expect it - great service!

Terrific Pump
By Jeff M
Indiana
Review Posted 06/03/2023
I had an older version of this pump for many years which used the 1" hoses and thought it was great. This pump with its 1.5" hoses is a beast and emptied my 25000 gallon pool in record time. I unpacked it, filled it with oil and gas and it fired on the first pull. Another high quality Honda product.

Great little pump

Review Posted 08/27/2022
I got this incase of fire in our canyon. I necked it down from 1 1/2 in. to 1 in. and use a 100ft. Fire hose and fire nozzle. For the distance I am from my creek it does a good job.

Water Wise

Would love to be able to use this pump however, while both inlet and discharge are 1-1/2” thread, they are clearly a different thread type. All 1-1/2” fittings purchased with pump fit inlet but will not thread on the discharge. More clarification in the specifications from Honda would have been nice.

Expert Response
Very sorry you received the pump with the incorrect discharge. We haven't see any other instances of this, so it may be just an error on Honda's part. It looks like we're in the process of getting that correct discharge for you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Great Pump
By Ryan
Cross Plains, Texas
Purchased 03/23/2022 |
Review Posted 04/06/2022
Great pump, runs good, starts east and is quiet. I use it for fire fighting on a 500 gallon tank with an 1.5” fire hose and nozzle. It will get rid of a tank full quick, going to reduce to a 1” nozzle. Also, no matter what you read the suction is 1.5” NPTF thread and the discharge is 1.5” NPSH, both have male threads on pump. Order appropriate fittings to save yourself some trouble.

This Is The Best Pump At The Best Price
By Michael B.

Purchased 06/01/2021 |
Review Posted 11/02/2021
This is a very good reliable pump, my only complaint is that the red tag for putting oil in the pump was hidden under the fuel tank and I did not see it until I tried to start it. The dip stick is plastic and hard to see clean oil levels but it was wet with oil. It could have been disastrous.
