Works But Leaks

The pump moves water really well but has had a leak coming from the inside since it was installed. It's not a large leak, but no leak is a good leak. I fear that it will rot the wood it sits on. this happens whether it is on or not.

Bought this pump based on recommendation from WATERPUMPSDIRECT and have not hade any problems with it and it has been in operation for close to a year, Am expecting many more years of service out of it. I have noticed though that the price has gone up since I have purchased this pump, good thing i bought it when I did.

After initial set up pump ran very quietly and efficiently, with good output. We did need to have a lot of extra parts to get it going and I still need to have a place to prime it easily. It does hold the prime very well and so far I am very very pleased

I have been using this pump for about a month and it keeps losing pressure. No leaks in the connections. Have done everything to get it to work.

FP5532 Needs To Be Hard Wired...

Researched this pump a bit and never noticed anywhere in the documentation that it's not completely simple to switch from 208V to 110V or that it needs to be wired directly to the unit. No plug. I'm sure that the FFP5532 performs as well as all of the reviews but I purchased a comparable 1HP model with a plug.

My first pump did leak after turning it on, however water pumps direct replaced this pump under warranty! The second pump works great! Both flo-tec and water pumps direct where awesome to deal with!
