Amazing Pump
By Mark S
Florida
Review Posted 12/22/2022
I'm a pool builder in Florida and this is the only brand of pump I use. It pumps water at a rate I need and fits in the pool main drains perfectly when cleaning out and surfacing pools. Either use a water hose or a 1" hard hose with gator type connection. Highly recommend and have been using these pumps since 2014.

We have had several of these over the past 30 years. In the winter it runs 24/7 for 7-8 months straight. Cannot find it locally anymore. Just getting another for a backup while we can still get it. I recommend highly.

Excellent Pump At A Reasonable Price
By Robert D.

Review Posted 04/27/2022
Water Pumps Direct delivered the pump quickly and an excellent price. I have used the pump to remove water from a large fountain and it did an excellent job. It performed as advertised and drained the water down to a 1/4" or less.

Powerful Pump At A Budget Price, Not As Great For Floor Sucker F
By Matthew S.
Hawthorne, New York
Purchased 03/07/2022 |
Review Posted 04/09/2022
Definitely a powerful pump when submersed in deep water, however I purchased as the best recommendation for an affordable floor sucker for my basement. Occasional flooding from seepage. The pump is supposed to work starting in 1/2" of water but gets too much air to get started in that little water. I don't see any way it would suck down to the advertised 3/16". Which is still a decent amount of standing water in a basement. For other applications this pump would be great. A little noisy and leaks water around the joints, which they say is normal, but seems a little strange to me.

Great Pump For Moving Water Into My 225 Gallon Aquarium.
By Carleton H.

Review Posted 05/08/2019
This is a very efficient pump for moving water quickly into my 225 gallon aquarium. My tank top is is around six and one half feet tall so having this pump move water from a holding tank in my garage into the aquarium is a real blessing.

Love This Pump!!

We have used these pumps for years but when our local distributor stopped carrying them we tried a different brand!
BIG MISTAKE!! We had to return both of them. So we went on line and found Water Pumps Direct and immediately ordered two Flotec Pumps. The price was also considerably cheaper than the local distributor had sold them. Totally satisfied.

Very Reliable

Review Posted 10/23/2018
This pump fits my needs. It's very efficient and never failed. So, I ordered another one for a friend who is also very satisfied with it. The only feature lacking is a longer power cord. Instead of 8 feet, should be like 15 feet. But it's no big deal. So far, so good!

If I was to water a garden with this pump, would the pressure of the hose turning on and off be bad for the pump?
