I recently bought a champion generator and thought it was a good value, so I went with a champion pump. They are both still new, so I can't comment on the longevity, but they perform well and seem to be of good quality. This thing moves a lot of water quickly. It's probably too much pump for standard house/yard applications, but for moving a lot of water around a small farm it works well.
The only negative I have to say is that the output uses a screw on adapter instead of the quick clamp adapter like the input uses. I'm not sure why they would set it up this way but it makes it less convenient. I already had additional 2" hose, but can't use it without buying additional couplers, whereas if they had just made the output the quick clamp I could have just used my existing hose on it.

After pump was set up, we had to buy a female connector to attach longer discharge hose since it did not come with pump or hose. Pump started right up, first pull and ran great. After a week, we started pump to use in case of field fire during a brush pile burn. The pump seal failed and there is a constant water leak around shaft losing about 30% of volume. Now, I have to fix my new pump with less than an hour of use. Very disappointed. Packed it up and it now sits in my shed, unusable. I should have bought local.

This Model 100742 2 inch pump was easily assembled in under an hour, and put to work immediately to pump excess water with debree out of a tank. I pumped the outflow in a slight uphill direction into an overflow containment basin using the full 25 ft outflowpipe. After priming, the engine started with pull cord the very first pull! Wow! In seconds the 100 gallons I needed to remove was gone. The outflow rolled pipe must be kept taut and unkinked so I staked the end with a steel spike to keep the water from causing a creased blockage . Very happy with the price, the quality, and the performance of this pump.
