Had this pump for about 18 months. Worked well until it didn't. Tripped the breaker. traced wiring, found the connection box on the motor was filled with water which shorted the motor out. This unit is under cover, it may have received indirect rain but you would think the electrical box on a water pump would be waterproof. Never had this problem before

Usage is residential lawn irrigation. So far so good. Primed easily and has great relatively quiet output. Input and output sizes and locations matched up with the old pump so it was an easy swap out.
My only complaint is that when you open the wiring compartment, immediately you see that the ground wire attachment location is placed such that you cannot easily attach the ground without further otherwise needless disassembly of the wiring box area.
Hoping for long life with the brass impeller and that the capacitor start (which I like) lasts. I will be installing a cover for better protection of the built in cooling fan. Unit remains touchable even after running for hours.

This is a replacement for a 1.5 HP burcam pump that I ran 18 hours a week for 10 years. It finally gave up. Replaced it with a 2 HP BURCAM AND it’s doing a great job.

Very easy to hook up. This is the second one I have purchased. It is very strong. I have one sprinkler line that is 75 yards away with 10 heads and the heads are all spraying out 30 to 40 feet. I draw off of our lake which is about 110 feet away and also 6 feet lower then the pump. Good pump!

This is a quality piece of equipment, best pump I’ve had in 35 years of lawn irrigation. It runs quieter and provides great coverage from each sprinkler head. PED gave me an unbeatable deal and got it to me in just three days. I could not be more pleased!

Runs great and shipped on time. On my last lawn sprinkler pump I usually hooked up the electrical outlet each year by just connecting the wires coming from my house to the pump which was near our lake however on this pump connecting the wires was tight so I decided to put up a permanent outlet outside by the lake and connected a permanent plug to the pump which enables me to just unplug it each year and store it.

I order this pump back in April. When the pump came in it was just as shutdowns where starting, so when the UPS guy dropped it at my front door and ran I was not surprised, but the box was badly damaged and when I went to bring it in the house the bottom of box nearly opened due to being poorly sealed. Since my husband works on pumps and injectors he took a look at it to see if it looked like it would be in OK condition to install and he said it should be ok. So we installed it as the instructions stated but low behold it did not work. When we contacted Water Pumps direct they told us we had to contact Burcam because it was a Warranty issue.
Fast forward a few months I have sent the pump back to Burcam at my cost they have received it and I have not received a replacement pump back. When I call to check on it they say that UPS is not picking up. I am trying to be understanding but in the same regard I have paid for a product that did not work when I received it and I have not received a replacement months later.
If I ever get a working pump I will come back and let you know how it works but at this point my experience and feelings about this pump are not great.
